Charter and Comcast grabbed the September 9 selloff headlines, down 8.13% and 6.61%. But S&P 500 data shows Alphabet, down just 2.28%, erased $94.3 billion — about 80% of the sector's $118.4 billion loss and 7.5x what Charter, Comcast and T-Mobile lost combined.
