Nvidia alone drove nearly half of today's S&P 500 gain

The S&P 500 rose 0.54% on September 2, but $NVDA's 3.2% move contributed almost half of that by itself. Strip it out and the index gained just 0.32%. This is the sixth time in a month a single stock has carried this much of the tape.

The S&P 500 closed down 0.16% on Friday. Take Nvidia out and it closed up 0.20%. Every one of thirteen AI-hardware names fell that day, and all six of the largest non-AI companies rose.
